Crushed ore is fed into Mills in which the ore is mixed with water and may be ground down to a particle size, in the case of gold and copper, of about 75 microns (0.075mm).Because of the range of mill sizes available, AG/SAG milling can often be accomplished with fewer lines than in a conventional rod mill/ball mill circuit.
